Accelerating Research Translation
Accelerating Research Translation (ART) Project
The National Science Foundation has created a program known as Accelerating Research Translation (ART). This program provides funding to support institutions that seek to increase the rate of translation of university intellectual property (IP) into societal impacts.
PTIE leaders Carter & Bouwma-Gearhart have been awarded a grant (Award # TIP-2430589) to work specifically with the 18 ART awardee institutions to support their recognition of innovation & entrepreneurship impact by their faculty. This work includes case studies and pilots with ART awardee institutions to explore the effectiveness of changes.
Enable recognition of translation
Our approach. Our team at Oregon State University works in partnerships with the ART institutions to support their organizational needs in building capacity for research translation.
We co-develop case studies of their change to discover broader implications in higher education.
New NSF ART Solicitation
NSF recently announced the program solicitation for 2025’s ART projects. If you are interested in using PTIE recommendation in your proposal, please contact us. We are happy to help!
